"We
are committed to developing students who are established in their faith; developing students who know how to be led by the
Spirit and to walk by the Spirit which will produce in them the character qualities and priorities of Jesus" (Galatians

Sunday School
At Faith Reformed
Church we have Sunday School classes for all ages, from age 4 to adult. Classes start immediately following our morning service
and fellowship time, from 11 a.m. to noon. Our curriculum, "Walk With Me," for our Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grades is
based on our Reformed/Presbyterian doctrine and includes memory work with each lesson. They also include projects and other
activities, along with music, songs, and dramatic readings to enhance and reinforce learning. Grades Pre-Kindergarten through
5th Grades begin with a shared music time.
The High School
class just finished studying the Book of Acts. They are now learning about what we believe as Christians and then will be
studying different religions and comparing each of them to Christianity.
We usually have
two Adult classes to choose from. Currently, we have one using a book on prayer called "Praying the Names of God"
by Ann Spangler and one using a weekly internet discussion format called "The Wired Word," which covers the
news of the previous week.
We hope
you will join us for Sunday School any time! If you have any questions, please call the church office at 423-3055.
Children's
Church Alternative Program
Faith
Reformed Church offers a Children's Church Alternative Program during our regular church service. It starts immediately following
the children's sermon and is for ages 4 through 11. It consists of a video series of animated stories fron the Old and New
Testament. It includes worksheets containing puzzles, word search, questions and coloring pages relating to the Bible story
they are watching. The children meet in the room next to the Infant Nursery. A small snack is served. This
alternative is at the parents' discretion.
Faith Friends
Faith Friends is
our midweek program for kid's kindergarten through sixth grade. It meets from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday night from
mid September to mid-May. It consists of an opening time as a whole group with music, memory and a skit emphasizing the Bible
story/theme for the evening. Children are then rotated in smaller groups, called circles, through different stations
which include crafts, music, and snacks. Each station builds on the main bible theme as presented during the opening. The
children conclude in their small groups with a time of "journaling." This is the time they share what has been happening during
their week and answer some questions designed to help them in making the lesson real in their lives.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an unique opportunity for children from age 4 through
the 6th grade. Each summer approximately 50 children of the church and of the community gather together to learn about
and experience the love of God through Jesus Christ from the youth and adults who are leading them. The children meet together
for five 3-hour days for a week of fun, skits, music, recreation, snacks, and Bible lessons. Each
year the week has a particular theme. The theme this year will be Son Quest Rain Forest by Gospel Light. All the children
of the community are invited to attend.
Scheduled for August 8th through August 15th, 2010 from
9 a.m. to noon.
